In light of recent vaccination protocol modifications we have developed a plan for the safety, health and well-being of your pet(s) and incorporated it into our overall preventative health care plans.
Prevention is a hallmark in keeping your pet healthy and happy. Our protocol for scheduled visits and tests is designed to ensure disease processes will be detected early and treated before they progress.
Our state-of-the-art facility and professional staff can accommodate the surgical needs your pet may require, with technologically advanced monitoring equipment.
Pre-surgical testing is recommended before putting your pet under anesthesia. You deserve peace of mind. Testing can significantly reduce medical risk and ensure pet health and safety.
Pets can't tell us when they don't feel well. A healthy-appearing pet may be hiding symptoms of a disease or ailment. For example, a pet can lose up to 75% of kidney function before showing any visible signs of illness. Testing helps us evaluate pet health up front, so we can avoid problems related to anesthesia.
Testing can reduce risk and consequences. If pre-anesthetic results are within normal ranges, we can proceed with confidence, knowing that anesthetic risk is minimized. On the other hand, if results are not within the normal ranges, we can alter the anesthetic procedure, or take other precautions to safeguard pet health and reduce the risk of potential complications.
Testing can help protect pet health in the future. These tests can provide baseline levels for your pet and become part of his or her medical record for future references.
Laser surgery is performed on all surgery. What does this mean for my pet?
